Want to discuss great books with like-minded friends in West Knoxville?
The concept is simple. We’re a global book club for likeminded individuals to discuss great books! All members of the book club read the same book over the same period; members then meet up in their respective cities at the end of each month to discuss the book and exchange views.

Pearce Oysters by Joselyn Takacs
A family drama set along the Louisiana coastline during the 2010 BP Oil Spill, Pearce Oysters follows a third-generation oyster farmer whose business, family, and livelihood are on the brink of collapse.

Is this a coed book club?
Hi Todd. The Gloss is a community designed mainly for women and non-binary people. Men are not excluded and are welcome to attend our meetings if they feel a connection to The Gloss; however, we ask that all members who attend are respectful of the safe space our hosts have committed to fostering. The main objective for The Gloss is to create safe and welcoming communities that respect each and every attendee regardless of gender.
The first meeting of the West Knoxville chapter will be at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 16th at 35 North in Farragut. Hope to see you there!!
