Jennifer Probst is widely adored for her charming, sexy, and completely captivating romance and women novels. The Meet Me In Italy series whisks readers away on a dream vacation through the pages to some of Italy’s most picturesque and iconic settings. Her newest in the series, To Sicily with Love, brings readers to stunning Sicily as one powerful, self-made American businesswoman reconnects with lost family. Aurora York has climbed the ladder to career success and has fame, a book deal, and a large social media presence where she helps others achieve their dreams. But her life is turned upside down when her mother passes away suddenly, leaving her without any family to speak of. After completing a DNA test, she never imagines what she may find… an entire family she never knew about living in Sicily! When her cousin reaches out and invites her there and to meet the family, she takes the leap and books a flight to Italy. I absolutely love this series, and have devoured all of them in a 2 month span! I honestly did not like Aurora in the beginning and her relationship with her boyfriend, Jason, who seemed to like to control her in every way possible. Instead of helping her cope with her difficult loss, I felt that he stepped back when she needed someone the most. Finding out she had family in Sicily was the greatest pleasure, loved reading about her time in Italy and with her new-found family. The descriptions of the food served and eaten there made my mouth water and crave my own trip to Italy to come a lot sooner!! We see her learn and figure out where she belongs in the world and I found myself wanting to cheer her on. This novel strongly leans on family roots, food, faith and connection in perfect harmony. My one request to the author – PLEASE, please, please continue this series! Can the next one take place in Venice??
