Thirty years ago, June Moore bought Camp Holly Springs and turned it into a summer haven for girls. But now, June is in danger of losing the place she has
sacrificed everything for.
June’s niece, Daphne, met her two best friends, Lanier and Mary Stuart, at camp and they’ve helped each other through everything from heartbreak to substance abuse and have been inseparable even in their thirties. But of course trouble ensues when Daphne is confronted with a relationship from her past and a work issue becomes a little too personal… would her friends understand and be there while she makes an impossible choice?
The theme of friendships is strong in this novel – personal struggles, past relationships, lost love, its all there! And such a treasure to read! This book brought
me back to my childhood of camp and summers spent at the Jersey shore and the bonds that are built throughout numerous summers with the same people. Friends who become family and stick by you through it all.
Kristy Woodson Harvey weaves the perfect summertime story and is highly recommended! The perfect summer read!
