This book is simply IN-CRE-DI-BLE! Add it to your TBR right now, people!
Apparently, Alice has a gift: She is a love scribe. People who read her stories find the love of their lives, one way or another.
Alice’s best friend Gabby is heartbroken. The man she loved just dumped her out of nowhere. To make her feel better, Alice writes a story that is silly and fun to make her friend feel better. As she’s reading, she meets the man of her dreams. Just like that.
Gabby passes the story to another friend, who also falls in love. As so it goes on and on. Everyone’s finding their perfect match because of Alice’s story.
Sounds…magical, right? Is this real? Does she really have a gift? What’s going on?
Maybe Alice is so good at it because she gave up on the idea of love for herself. It just isn’t for her. But how can she make people fall in love if Alice herself
is not willing to try her own poison?
People start calling and asking for Alice’s “services”, and they’re willing to do anything to find love.
Until one day, Alice is surprised by a written note from a woman called Madeline.
Let me tell you, Madeline is one of my favorite characters ever. This one-of-a-kind lady who lives in a weird little house in the middle of nowhere is sooo
intriguing, and I loved her. They begin some sort of friendship. And of course, Alice was summoned to her house for a reason – Madeline wants to find love
again. But is this all? Really?
Of course not. Madeline might know more than Alice about her love scribe gift.
This book has so many beautiful quotes about love. It touches on different kinds of relationships, and it talks about the most important of all: self love.
This book is beautifully written, and the story is so magical, I never wanted it to end. Highly recommend it!
