The Housekeepers is the perfect blend of Moulin Rouge and Oceans 11. A heist on the grandest scale, and the most unpredictable crew to orchestrate it! Entirely entertaining and completely captivating, this book provides so many wonderful points for discussion!
The characters are crass but lovable and easy to root for. Mrs. King was the head housekeeper at the House of de Vries until she was let go from her position shortly after the Master’s death. She exacts her revenge by planning the largest and most skilled heist of her generation and knows just who to choose for her team of thieves. The band of women she pulls together is a motley crew to say the least. They all have specialized skills which are used to sneak, deceive, and steal their way to their ultimate goal. While planning the delicate execution, Mrs. King and a member of her crew discovering a harrowing secret they cannot ignore. Once the plans are in motion, nothing can go wrong…right?
Full of sass, this book shows just how far a group of scorned women are willing to go to get the ultimate revenge.
