I recieve a lot of emails from authors. About one a day. We are so thrilled that so many authors and publishers are interested in our community of readers. Sadly, we can’t read all the books that get pitched to us. As the founder of the Girly Book Club I think it’s important that we respond to every single email we get and so we always reply even if it’s just to tell them we can’t do anything with their book. Some authors take this news better than others.
Nick Malliris took the news that we couldn’t read his book in perfect stride and together we set out to prove you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.
