This is my new favorite book. I was completely engrossed, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and I had a major book hangover after reading it.
“Do you ever feel like the universe is trying to push you into something? Like it’s what’s supposed to happen, and you’re just meant to let it?”
Santi and Thora are meant to be together. It doesn’t matter how. Either as a married couple, or as father and daughter, or as teacher and student – in each life, they come back in different relationships, but always together somehow.
Each time they come back, they remember a little bit more about the other one. They look familiar, they have this magnetism between them.
Until something unusual happens in one of their lives, as brother and sister. They suddenly remember more than they ever did, and together they need to figure out why the heck they keep coming back to each other, and which of their lives is the “real one.”
Parallel universe, black hole, coincidence, fate… this book has it all. And it’s AMAZING in every aspect.
If you’re someone who likes things to be explained right away, be patient! We only have some sort of explanation at the end of Part II. Until then, enjoy the ride.
“It all feels like one thing: a path leading us step by step to where we need to be.”
It took a turn in the end that I wasn’t expecting. It became very scientific and complex (in a good way), reminding me a lot of the movie Interstellar.
This book will be on my top 10 best books of 2021 for sure!
