Picking up Last Seen, I was immediately drawn in by the tree-filled cover. The book tells the story of Hally, a woman, whose life is in shambles – she recently lost her job, ended her long marriage and has to return to her hometown to help her dad during his emergency surgery. While home, she discovers that her dad told her an earth-shattering lie years ago – that her mother died in a car accident when she was actually murdered. Hally decides to investigate the murder and quickly realizes the danger is not over for her. Last Seen is a great thriller! I flew through the book, finishing it in only a few sittings! It would make a great vacation read. Though some of the twists are predictable, I was still properly entertained and would recommend for fellow thriller lovers!
