I Will Find You by Harlan Coben (Review by Jessica Heatherly)

In the thriller genre, Harlan Coben is well established as an author whose books are full of heart pounding action and hairpin twists. I Will Find You is no exception! This book starts off with a bang and continues to build momentum until the shocking conclusion is exposed. Not only does the plot read like an action film Liam Neeson would pay to be in, the characters possess a level of passion and realness that pull you deeper into this multilayered story of a father with nothing to lose and an entire life to regain.

Five years ago, David Burroughs began a life sentence after being convicted of murdering his son. Today, he found out his son is still alive. He must escape from prison and find his son before getting captured or he will lose his only chance to prove his innocence. With the FBI hot on his trail, exposing the truth seems completely impossible but with a little help from some unlikely ghosts from his past, David just might be able to pull it off.

The characters really made this one for me! Especially the FBI agents Max and Sarah. Their witty banter back and forth had me laughing out loud! There are also some menacing characters who eventually pulled at my heart strings the more they got involved in David’s plight. All-in-all, this is the perfect book for lovers of suspense, action, and unforgettable characters. You will definitely have much to discuss with your book club besties!
