Fact or Fiction? I’m literally obsessed with this book. FACT. I don’t want it to be over. I’m just not ready to let Luke and Roe go yet! The good news is that I haven’t read book #1 or #2 in this series yet, and I will be diving in immediately! These Fletcher boys have my heart, and it is also a fact that I want to move up to Fletcher Mountain ASAP. Amy Daws does a beautiful job at setting the scene and the way she writes, it makes you feel like you’re literally stepping into the pages. Slow burns aren’t typically my jam, but when they are done in the way this author does it, it is perfect. It goes slow enough that you bond with the characters and are ridiculously routing for them by the time they figure it out. Then, on the other hand, there is that level of sexual tension that is just right to keep you coming back for more. I couldn’t put the book down because I was dying to see what the moment was going to be that finally pushed them over the edge. The best part? I kept thinking, “Oh, this is it. This is where it’s going to happen.” Then, nope. The characters weren’t the only ones Amy Daws was edging! Okay but for real, it wasn’t just the sexual tension that hooked me, it was also the emotional scenes that made me fall in love with this book. Even though Roe and Luke were best friends, they still hid so much of themselves behind their walls of grief. To watch them break down those walls brick by brick, how could you not be absolutely in love with both of them? Amy Daws honestly came out of nowhere for me, and she might just be climbing into my top five favorite authors if she keeps writing books like this!
