Rhett Eaton. Rhett freaking Eaton. Officially joining my list of top book boyfriends. I miss him already, and I’m sad I don’t get any more of the banter between Rhett and Summer. The way the two main characters played off of each other is my favorite type of read. I loved how Rhett was grumpy and stubborn, but deep down he was caring and sweet. It is the best when the male lead isn’t afraid to admit his feelings and proudly shows off his woman. I mean, really, isn’t that the type of love we are all dying to have?? The brief text message exchange at the beginning of every chapter was such a small touch, but one that allowed you to connect even deeper with each character, especially Kip! The sarcastic flow between him, Rhett, and Summer, had me chuckling out loud! I absolutely cannot review this book without discussing the spicy scenes though. The angst, the build-up, the culmination, and the DIRTY TALK. Dear lord does Rhett Eaton have a mouth on him, and he had me eating out of the palm of his hands, as I’m sure every other reader will be as well. Every intimate scene was so well done, and I couldn’t put this book down because I just wanted to get to the next spicy moment between Rhett and Summer. One last thing that I want to touch on is the development of the supporting characters. While there wasn’t too much detail spent on characters like Beau, Cade, Violet, and Willa, the author gave you just enough of a taste to long to hear their stories and how they get their happy ever afters. I just loved this book and will definitely be recommending it to everyone!
