Snowed In for Christmas was the perfect book to get me in the spirit for the holidays and kick off my 2022 holiday reading season! After reading the last few lines, I held the book to my chest and did a happy little sigh before putting it down. Sarah Morgan did a wonderful job at creating the perfect cast of characters that I was so happy to follow throughout the multiple-POV book. I picked this book up throughout the week when I needed a light and warm read because spending time with these characters felt like reading about close friends and family.
Lucy Clarke, a driven marketing professional, faces a bit of trouble when her idea to visit rural Scotland to hand-deliver a proposal to Ross Miller, a driven sportswear CEO, ends up with her being snowed in with the entire Miller family right before Christmas. Throughout the multiple POVs, we learn more about Lucy, the three Miller siblings, their loving parents, and the ever-cheeky Nanna Jean – all whilst getting to soak in the feeling of holiday magic as they all experience a Christmas to truly remember!
Despite the mayhem and chaos that finds its way to Lucy and the Miller family, we get to follow their journey to the heartwarming Happily Ever Afters. Their story made me want to ensure I continue to pick up a Sarah Morgan Christmas book each year. Snowed In for Christmas included loveable tropes such as forced proximity, childhood sweethearts, a dash of second-chance love, among others! If you’re looking for a good story with plot points that are not heartbreaking or going to shatter you, this is a perfect read.
Overall, I would imagine that this book would be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone looking for a heartwarming, Christmas-themed, multiple-POV book with lovable characters and multiple Happily Ever Afters that will have you grinning from ear to ear.
