These dogs always make me think of the Queen of England as she loved her Corgis. I wonder where those dogs are now…. Living at Buckingham Palace with the Royal Dog Walker, perhaps. Regardless, I digress; the location of this book is actually Corgi Coven, but don’t fret there – are two Corgis, aptly named Bonnie and Clyde.
Rosie Reynolds come to Corgi Cove to visit her aunt and uncle and find them and their inn on the brink of disaster. In an attempt to save the struggling inn she comes up with a plan to have it named as the best Christmas-themed inn in the entire USA. And it could just work. Enter Everett St Claire, a big shot from the city whose only task is to buy the inn and place it under the big city hotel chain he works for. But of course, nothing goes to plan.
This is a sweet heartwarming story I’d love to see on the big screen.
