Suzanne: I took over hosting in 2018 when the previous host retired. I joined to make new friends after moving to the city, and I’ve made some lifelong ones ever since! It’s been one of the most fulfilling activities I’ve started since moving here.
Angelica: I joined the D.C. chapter in 2019 and a little while later she began co-hosting with Suzanne in 2023. She’s a California transplant who enjoys cuddling with her cat, a good cup of coffee and being creative whether with painting, embroidery or writing fanfiction. The Gloss has been a great way for her to get out of her normal go-to reads that usually consist of romc-coms and to make new friends in a city 2,500 miles away from her home town.
