This story started off relatively strong for me. The action starts immediately, and right away you’re like what the heck is happening?? Unfortunately, it went downhill pretty quickly in my eyes. I like multiple POV’s in a book, but I swear it felt like there was a new POV introduced every chapter. It prevented me from getting invested in the characters as much as I wanted to. It always made the POV’s that I really enjoyed and look forward to, few and far between. It also became incredibly predictable to me, and that made it lose it’s luster. I found myself feeling forced to keep going instead of dying to pick it up. I enjoyed the short chapters, and that typically makes for a quick read, but it took me two weeks to finish this book when it normally takes me two days for one this length. I did like how things were slowly revealed, including things that we thought would be significant, but ended up being something entirely different, for example, the bump on Tom’s head. What I had issue with the most, however, was the ending! It was so unrealistic to me that I was just annoyed at that point. The women just got away with their crime, and their revenge on Sasha was described so quick and just felt rushed. Not my favorite thriller, unfortunately.
