## Returns & Refund Policy

This policy outlines how The Gloss Inc. processes returns and refunds for items purchased through our website. This page may be updated periodically, so please check back for any changes.

### What You Can Purchase

Items available for purchase include:

– Physical items (e.g., books, promo items)

– Membership subscriptions (monthly, bi-annual, and annual)

### Returns for Physical Items

You have 10 calendar days from the date you received your item to request a return. The item must be:

– Unused, in the same condition as received

– In its original packaging

– Accompanied by proof of purchase

**Process:**

– Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

– If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer’s policies.

**Shipping Costs:**

– You are responsible for the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.

### Membership Subscription Refund Policy

**Auto-Renewal:**

– Subscriptions (monthly, bi-annual, and annual) are automatically renewed based on the membership agreement.

– For annual renewals, we will send an email reminder before the renewal date.

**Payment Methods:**

– Stripe Online Payment Gateway (credit card)

**Refunds for Membership Subscriptions:**

– The Gloss Inc. does not issue refunds for renewal payments once processed. Members agree to automatic renewal upon their initial payment.

– Refunds will not be granted for failure to turn off auto-renewal. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.

**Exceptions:**

Refunds may be issued if:

– A chapter is announced and closed within 1 month of a member’s payment.

– A refund is deemed necessary to maintain platform integrity (e.g., fraud or misuse).

### Non-Refundable Payments

– Voluntary member dues.

– Automatically renewed member dues.

– Missed in-person meetups.

– Meetings that are full or sold out.

### Cancellations

Subscribers can cancel their memberships at any time. Cancellation must be made at before the next billing cycle to avoid charges for the next period. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the billing cycle begins.

You can only RSVP once per meeting with a membership
