Okay, I’m so torn between wanting to dive right into another one of Trilina Pucci’s books or just stay in this perfect little bubble of 5-star goodness that I’m in right now. I am in love with this book so much, and I literally dreaded finishing it. I knew the book hangover was going to be intense, but I couldn’t bring myself to put it down and go slower. Pucci included everything a reader could want. It had the romance, the humor, the spice, the suspense, the amazing supporting characters, and it even had the thriller aspect down perfect. It was almost like I read two completely different books. The falling in love part was beautifully written. I think I was right there falling head over heels with them. It felt real and genuine, and the lead up to the physical intimacy was downright delicious! Noah has skyrocketed into my top five book boyfriends, easily. THEN, the second part of the book was a mini thriller with a shocking twist! The ending left me with so much hope that there will be a book #2 in the series! I was not bored for one single second, and I found myself swooning at Noah and Goldie’s love one minute and then chuckling out loud at their banter the next. In the next breath, I would be quite literally fanning myself from the heat coming off of the pages! Chase and Evie were the BEST supporting characters, and I need a book with them as the main characters ASAP. I would preorder it tomorrow! Every word out of Chase’s mouth was pure gold, and he even brought the right dose of humor in the tense moments as well. I honestly can’t gush about this book enough. I already texted a bunch of my friends to add it to their TBR!
