Welcome to the Mississauga chapter of the Gloss Book Club! Whether you’re a lifelong and passionate bookworm or just finally getting around to that New Year’s resolution to read more, you will find a warm and welcoming space here.
We meet monthly (typically on the last Tuesday of each month) in local restaurants around Mississauga to chat about books and life. The book may be an unanimous hit, a complete miss, or a controversial read, but we always have lively conversations that are casual and nonjudgmental. It’s not just about reading though; books often serve as a catalyst that allows us to explore other topics and discuss all things life, as well as build meaningful connections with likeminded people.

In terms of finding the group, the reservation will always be under my name. You can ask for it when you enter the restaurant. I also usually come early to welcome the attendees. Hope that helps!

Do meet at the same place each month or different places? What area of Mississauga do you generally meet? Lastly, do you meet on weekends or on the 1st of the month?

Hi Priya, the Mississauga chapter seems to use a different venue each month. The next meeting is Tuesday Oct 29th, and the November meeting will be Tuesday Nov 26th.
