Book review

Not sure what I was expecting based on the back cover summary. There were many twists and turns in this story, borderline too many to make it even remotely possible. However, a couple different story lines made this interesting. When the storylines begin to intertwine is when the plot thickens! Boring marriages and grandiose dreams turn three couples into a money mess. A money gone wrong investment has left the marriages on poor terms with the wives looking for excitement. The husbands are hiding a new money making risk with a slot machine that is paying out thousands a week. With life insurance policies available, unbeknownst to the husbands, the unhappy wives have hired Hector the barber to make them widows. Into the story line comes Padma, lacking confidence and wanting to please her mother, she is determined to prove her worth. Wearing uncomfortable heels and fancy clothing, Padma will go to great lengths to rise to the top and surpass her mother on the Forbes list on her own. A matchmaker and suitors are not meeting her expectations, however, her mother has other ideas. Padma tries relentlessly to prove herself until she finds a possible scam and fraudulent payouts at the family casino. Who is behind all this and will this discovery be enough to show her worth? With millions of dollars up for grabs, who will end up happy and wealthy?!
