Book review

Kills Well With Others, by Deanna Raybourn, is the follow-upnovel to Killers of a Certain Age. The gang of middle-agedassassins for hire returns. This time, Billie, Helen, Mary Alice and Natalie are chased around the globe while they dodgevarious attempts on their lives. After a brief sabbatical, the four career killers receive an offer to put down a gangster suspected of murdering one of their colleagues. This hit leads to a more intricate conspiracy none of them anticipated. The decades long friendship between the women cements their ride or die loyalty to each other as they outwit a sociopathic killer intent on eliminating them. Who is stalking them and more importantly, why? Raybourn delivers a contemporary feminist novel about smart, capable women who use ageism, sexism, and their unique capabilities to their advantage. The writing is sharp and witty and the serpentine plot will keep readers on their toes! Fans of Killers of a Certain Age will enjoy the return of the senior assassins! Kills Well With Others is a sassy, adventurous, contemporary spy thriller that takes readers on a high-speed adventure as the gang evades peril once again.
