We’re a welcoming, mixed group of both Americans and Germans, and our meetings are held in English to bring everyone together. Co-hosted by a German and an American, our chapter offers you a friendly face no matter where you’re from. We gather to chat about our latest read over coffee or a glass of wine, keeping the vibe casual and the conversation lively. Beyond books, we occasionally also enjoy socializing outside our regular meet-ups. Hi! I just got into the city, and was interested in joining, but I noticed the description said it was for like minded women, which may not apply to me. Is the club gender exclusive?
Hi Paddy! The Gloss is a community designed mainly for women and non-binary people. Men are not excluded and are welcome to attend our meetings if they feel a connection to The Gloss; however, we ask that all members who attend are respectful of the safe space our hosts have committed to fostering. The main objective for The Gloss is to create safe and welcoming communities that respect each and every attendee regardless of gender.
