Hi, I’m Sarah, a passionate reader navigating life in the real world. I am a proud parent of a school-bound child and our household is a delightful menagerie, featuring a dog, a cat, and lots of love. My days are filled with a diverse array of interests. I find solace in the rhythm of my feet hitting the pavement during a run, embrace the tranquillity of swimming and cycling, and express my creative side through ballet. Books hold a special place in my heart, and there’s no better feeling than losing myself in a different universe. Over the pandemic, I delved into the enchanting world of fantasy novels. However, my reading tastes are eclectic, spanning from classic literature to thrilling mysteries, heartwarming romances, and mind-bending sci-fi tales. Some of my all-time favourites include Elantris, the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, and the A Discovery of Witches series. I’m so excited to embark on this new chapter as I restart the Waterloo Gloss Book Club in the fall of 2023.
