The concept is simple. We’re a global book club for likeminded readers to discuss great books! All members of the book club read the same book over the same period; members then meet up in their respective cities at the end of each month to discuss the book and exchange views.

About Your Host

I first joined The Gloss, formerly known as the Girly Book Club, when I moved to Toronto in 2019. Eager to connect with fellow book lovers and enjoy engaging discussions over a glass of wine, I quickly found that the club was a perfect fit for my interests.

Originally from Mexico and having spent part of my youth in Chile, I have lived in the USA and Canada before recently relocating to Torremolinos in 2024. As an organizational development consultant, I am passionate about fostering growth and success in organizations, but my hobbies extend far beyond the workplace. I enjoy crafting unique cocktails, diving into books and audiobooks, and exploring new literary genres.

I live with my husband and our adventurous chihuahua, Pampa, who travels everywhere with us. I’m excited to host the local Torremolinos chapter of The Gloss and create a space where we can make new friends, enjoy life, and have fun while indulging in our love for reading.
