The concept is simple. We’re a global book club for likeminded readers to discuss great books! All members of the book club read the same book over the same period; members then meet up in their respective cities at the end of each month to discuss the book and exchange views.

Hi I’m Jasmin your Bristol host. I turned to reading during an extremely difficult time in my life. Reading quickly became an outlet for me and I have read every day since. I joined the Gloss as a way to connect with like minded people and the fact it was female only made me feel safe. Since I joined in 2019 I have met some amazing people and made loads of friends for life. So when the option to be a host came up I jumped at the chance. This is a safe space for every member. Whether you love or hate the book it doesn’t matter, if anything it makes the discussions better!! Look forward to meeting you.
