Kate Marshall has brought to life complex characters and written narrative that brings them to life, exposing both their good and bad sides, making them real, while simultaneously spinning a tale that is captivating and terrifying, drawing the reader into the drama, never too sure of who the real bad actor is. Every time you think you have it figured out, you’re wrong. This is definitely a difficult to put down read…be prepared.
