I just finished watching Season 1 of The Night Agent on Netflix (based on Matthew Quirks third book of the same name) and loved it!! So, when I received Inside Threat, written by Quirk, I dove right in, expecting the same propulsive action-packed mystery thriller. I was not disappointed!!

Eric Hill, a decorated veteran agent of the U.S. Secret Service, is put to the test as the President becomes a target for a political coup after an unforeseen radical group conspires to overthrow the U.S. government. Agent Hill risks his life to protect the president and safeguard the constitutional process when he and his colleagues become entombed at Raven Rock Mountain Complex, an underground bunker designed to house key government staff when confronted by national security threats. Hill must rely on his extensive training to ensure the presidents safety and uncover the killers that have infiltrated Raven Rock to carry out their twisted agenda.

Fans of David Baldacci, Stacey Abrams, and James Patterson will enjoy reading Inside Threat! Quirk’s story is a fast-paced, largely plot driven, political page turner that will transport readers to a world of conspiracy theories, treason, and an underground bunker that would enrapture the heart of any modern doomsday prepper. The fact that Raven Rock actually exists made Inside Threat an even more enthralling read. I can’t wait for Inside Threat to become Quirk’s next series!
