Book review

This book gave me… well, butterflies. Give Me Butterflies is a slow burn romance that hits all the sweet spots: grumpy/sunshine vibes, nerdy museum banter, and characters who feel like real, slightly messy, deeply lovable humans. Millie is a bug-loving curator who’s passionate about her job (and might be slightly obsessed with achieving her goals—relatable). She’s up for a big promotion and determined not to get distracted by anything, especially not the grumpy-but-hot astronomy guy who somehow manages to look dreamy in a constellation tie. Then there’s Finn—he’s overwhelmed, grieving, raising his nieces, and absolutely not looking for love. And yet… cue the tension, the awkward run-ins, and the kind of soft moments that make your heart squeeze. This is one of those stories where the chemistry simmers and builds (and builds) until you’re just yelling kiss already at the page. But the slow burn pays off with heartfelt, steamy, and swoony moments that totally deliver. Add in lovable side characters, chaotic museum energy, and banter that’s both funny and vulnerable, and you’ve got a romance that’s equal parts smart, sweet, and spicy.
