Rating 5/5 stars!!
After finishing this book, I had to take a couple of minutes before starting this review because I was just so insanely excited to talk about it! This was probably my favorite book that I have read so far this year (and also the 30th I’ve read, so that is saying something). It was, in my opinion, the perfect combination of fun, witty, sarcastic, “book-nerdy”, and heartwarming. Not only that, but I felt I could relate to so much of the bookish/trivia banter and found myself reading with a giant smile on my face from beginning to end.
Nina is an only child, book loving, introvert with anxiety who loves her scheduled, calm life. Everything is as it should be when all of a sudden she finds out she has a dad (gasp) who has died and written her in his will (double gasp) and she now has several siblings, nieces, nephews, and great nieces/nephews (triple gasp)!! Add to her increasingly complicated life the cute trivia competitor that seems to be interested in more than just answering questions 😉 and needless to say, Nina’s calm orderly way of life will never be the same.
I loved this book, if I hadn’t made that clear so far. The character of Nina was fantastic and so relatable to me in so many ways. The sarcastic humor throughout the book had me laughing out loud while reading on the train. I would recommend this book to all my follow book loving people. Pick this up for a lovely and truly funny read!
