Want to discuss great books with like-minded friends in Queen Creek, AZ?
The concept is simple. We’re a global book club for likeminded women to discuss great books! All members of the book club read the same book over the same period; members then meet up in their respective cities at the end of each month to discuss the book and exchange views.
Grab your seat! What we are reading in November: The Man I Never Met by Elle Cook
Is it possible to love someone you’ve never met? A young woman finds out in this sweeping will-they-or-won’t-they love story that begins with a chance wrong number dial. . . .
When Hannah picks up a call from an unknown number, she thinks nothing of it–it’s just an easygoing American named Davey who misdialed her while calling into a job interview. And when Hannah wishes him luck after clearing up the confusion, she never actually expects to hear from him again.
Then she gets a text saying he got the job and he’ll be moving to London, and she can’t help but smile. Soon their texts become phone calls that turn into video calls, and their friendship becomes a relationship they can’t wait to start in earnest once Davey lands in London in a month’s time.
But when Hannah goes to meet him at the airport, Davey isn’t there–and the reason why changes both of their lives in an instant. With their future together suddenly so uncertain, they don’t know what to do but try to move on from each other.
Though their chance at love seems lost forever, neither is never far from the other’s thoughts. Will fate intervene once more to bring the two together, or will Davey always be the man that Hannah never met?

Hello!
I’m Issam Rian, literary representative for author D.R. Ransdell. I noticed that you have a book club focused on diverse genres; maybe one of D.R.’s books below would be of interest for a future choice.
A brief summary of D.R.’s books:
MYSTERIES (some violence, hints of sex, but humorous and light-hearted)
The Andy Veracruz Mysteries feature mariachi violinist Andy Veracruz. Since mariachi players don’t perform using written music, they have more time to observe their customers—and their customers’ antics. For Andy, this is an annoying distraction!
Mariachi Meddler—when Andy Veracruz takes charge of the restaurant so his boss can attend a baptism, Andy never expects the boss’s wife to become a murder suspect.
Island Casualty—Andy goes to Greece for a much-needed vacation, but a fellow traveler’s disappearance sends bullets flying.
Dizzy in Durango—Andy travels to Durango, Mexico, to chase after Rachel, but they both chase after a kidnapped teacher whose choice of boyfriends proves fatal.
Substitute Soloist—Andy accepts a position with an orchestra, but during the first concert, the concertmaster goes missing after the manager is killed backstage.
Brotherly Love—Andy helps Rachel stage a show in Vegas, but between a scheming stage manager and terrible musicians, Andy fears that opening night also be their last.
UPCOMING MYSTERY, available September 2022: Party Wine—Sofi travels to Italy to restore a family property, but after a victim is found in her cellar, renovations take a backseat to investigations—and her interest in a local police officer.
WOMEN’S FICTION (light, humorous, hints of sex)
The Campanello Travel Novels feature Rachel and/or Gina Campanello, two sisters who develop a love of travel—and sometimes fellow travelers.
Amirosian Nights—when Rachel Campanello travels to Greece for the summer, she never expects to substitute in a mariachi band or fall for the island’s star musician.
Thai Twist—when Gina travels to Thailand, her mission to deliver a package to a long-lost friend leads her all over the country and into the arms of one of its natives.
Carillon Chase—after winning an internship with a travel company, Gina drives to Springfield, Illinois, to cover the International Carillon Festival, but she has to rescue the star performer from jealous rivals.
NON-FICTION
Secrets of a Mariachi Violinist—D.R. explains her musical journey from studying traditional classical music to learning folk songs in Mexico to talking her way into a mariachi band in Tucson, Arizona.
D.R. lives in Tucson during the school year, but she would be happy to zoom in for part of a meeting. If you’re interested in one of her books, I would be pleased to provide you with a complimentary copy; if your book club adopts one of her books, I can send three. Many thanks for your kind attention. I look forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, happy reading!
Sincerely,
Issam Rian
