In Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren (Review by Taylor Bridgeforth)
1 min read
In Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren, Macy and Elliot are next door neighbors for five years before becoming each other’s first everything—first best friend, first relationship, first love. In that time, they slowly get to know each other in hopes of doing everything right to avoid losing the special relationship they share, while reading and sharing books to read in Macy’s faux library in her closet.
Ten years have passed when Macy and Elliot randomly bump into each other and haven’t seen or spoken to each other since the incident where only Macy knows exactly what happened to separate them.
As the reader, you’re tortured and hopeful that whatever incident pulled Macy and Elliot apart will not in evidently keep them apart.
Be ready to feel all the feels of the brutal honesty of young and everlasting love.
