This is a book that has you gripped from the start. Rebekah is writing about her own life and experience of trying to find a husband after not dating for a long time. Throughout the journey you learn about her, her business and what not to do while dating.
Whether you are in a relationship or looking for a relationship this is a well written account of online dating that spans from Sydney, Australia to New York, USA. It really makes you think about what you want in life for your relationship and work and what you should accept and not accept. We all have an ideal partner in our minds but it is interesting how that ideal can change as we grow and learn what is really important. Rebekah teaches us that we are all worthy of the right person and we shouldn’t accept anything less than that. At the same time we shouldn’t compromise our values and standards when at work either as that is just as important.
It sounds like a cliche but there is someone for everyone and it takes time to really work out who that person is that we are looking for and if you find yourself compromising in any way or not being your true self with someone then they are not the right person, you need to keep looking. Although there are people who come close and there are heartbreaks that you feel you will never recover from, if you know what you want you will achieve your dream. Having been there myself not so long ago and going through the highs and lows like Rebekah to find my husband I can say there is light at the end if you put your plan in place and regularly review it to achieve your desired outcome and be brave!
A great read and thought provoking book! Well done to Rebekah for being brave enough to share her journey!
